WWT Arundel

Mill Rd, Arundel BN18 9PB, UK – 01903 883355

Great place to wander and take on the wildlife and view's. Some narrow pathways, but layout and sign post's all around. Excellent cafe and produce but staff do not really know what they are doing, could also think about layout with hot food and cakes and till area. Great little shop and plenty of free parking.

Great relaxing sanctuary! Went as a carer for a disabled young adult. Staff were all brilliant. Helpful and accommodating to pur needs. Boat trip was lovely and we were reassured that we could have a shorter trip if we needed to but our young person really enjoyed the whole 20 minutes. The whole place was very peaceful and was beautiful with stunning views of the castle and the countryside. There is loads for kids to do too such as pond dipping. A lovely day out for the whole family.

Boat Moorings & Marinas

Ship & Anchor Marina & Campsite

Station Road, Ford, Arundel BN18 0BJ, UK – 01243 551262

I read all of the reviews about location and was heartened that others felt the noise of the trains was not intrusive. Well our opinion was very different and we were very disturbed by them well into the evening. Perhaps being noise sensitive we could also hear dogs barking day and night from the nearby boarding kennels. That said pick up the campsite and most definitely the pub and move it a couple of miles and I would be back in a shot. Lovely, well maintained site with adequate facilities- but the jewel in the crown is the pub and their lovely food.

We recently stayed at the Ship & Anchor campsite just south of Arundel. Reasonably priced with a great food pub on site. It has a nice little playground that our group of kids 7, 9 and 11 played happily in. Walked to the station at Ford the next day. One stop to Arundel which has a lovely Lido

Great place to get some air and take the dogs (although some areas deeper into the park dogs need to be kept in the lead). You can spend 20minutes here or all day. Really is beautiful.

Beautifull park lovely historical town. Well worth a visit

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Poling or West Sussex. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.

Arundel Castle

Arundel BN18 9AB, UK – 01903 882173

Brilliant place if you like sub-tropical plants. The Collector Earl's Garden is not to be missed, the plants are amazing and the green oak structures look like stone from afar. Loved the castle too but my main interest was in the gardens.

Beautiful Castle. The views from within are breathtaking. From outside you cant imagine the wonders that await inside. Recommend doing the full package tour. You visit every spot of the castle and literally, when u arrive in some areas, you wont believe this was here the whole time. Dont miss out!
