Quick service, nice atmosphere and the food was great. The bolognese was especially delicious. Kind and polite staff.
Good service, great food, can get very busy so sometimes best to book in advance.

Great food, great location. This is a small intimate venue. We went along for Sunday lunch and they didn't disappoint. Reasonable pricing, not a carvery so expect to spend more than average. Service was as you'd expect, excellent.
We passed by while walking in Arundel and decided to try this lovely looking little restaurant. The waitress was nice and welcoming and we reserved a table for 8 pm. We went back at around 7.45 pm and asked if it was possible to be seated 15 minutes earlier and the waitress said of course with a smile. At that point, a lady who we assumed was the owner, stepped in rudely to silence the waitress and said that actually it wasn't fine because our table was at 8, so we would have needed to wait longer because the kitchen was busy. She said we could sit if we accepted to wait a bit longer. The room was more than a half empty and it was the first time I heard something like that. The waitress was embarrassed, as we were, and apologetic. We ordered two mains and waited for an hour, no bread was served in the table. The list of wine is average, so are the mains we ordered, pan fried sea bass and pan fried skate. Dessert were the highlight: apple crumble with warm custard and sticky toffee pudding. Ignore the owner's behaviour, the staff is kind and polite.
