Quick service, nice atmosphere and the food was great. The bolognese was especially delicious. Kind and polite staff.

The Bay Tree

19A-21 Tarrant St, Arundel BN18 9DG, UK – 01903 883679

Venue is small but nice. In a lovely area in Arundel with nearby bars and shops. Service was fast and courteous but clumsy at times (they forgot a few things, we had to ask for water twice for example, and on another table a young waiter also knocked a bottle of peroni over all over a woman and her hand bag). Wine was fine, we just had the house red. I’m no wine buff but I enjoyed it. Food was FANTASTIC. Loved the menu, specials looked good too. Both our meals were cooked expertly with lovely presentation and both tasted amazing. Was a pleasure to eat the food. It’s more expensive that the normal generic restaurant you find. But the food is better. All in all we were happy and left feeling satisfied and happy with the experience. People on other tables seemed happy too.

I dined at the restaurant on Saturday with my boyfriend, we had a really lovely meal and the service was good. I'm a vegetarian and had the roasted vegetable risotto, which was amazing and a good quantity, my boyfriend had the braised pork belly (£17.50), he was advised to have sides, at £2.95 each, I felt the food was a little more than we would normally pay, but it was excellent quality. But we would return when in Arundel next.
