Find Recycling Centres

Viridor Recycling

Mill Ln, Wick BN17 7PH, UK – 01903 713269

Friendly, helpful staff. Effectively laid out - logical.

Organised and helpful staff. Always on hand to assist with the bigger items. Reduced opening hours are a problem with significant queues forming at busy times. Tuesday and Wednesday closures compound the situation. Hopefully these restrictions can be subject to review and relaxation in the near future.

Brookside Caravan Park

Lyminster Rd, Lyminster, Littlehampton BN17 7QE, UK – 01903 713292

Lovely and clean caravan site. Perfect for kids. Really safe

Had a lovely summer break for a week at Brookside. Two families in two vans and very fortunate with the weather. Friendly site with plenty of space and lots to do on the doorstep.

Gaugemaster

Gaugemaster House, Ford Rd, Ford, Arundel BN18 0BN, UK – 01903 884321

Fantastic model railway store. Huge. Has just about everything you could want albeit at full retail price. Excellent staff.

Great store both for buying on-line and visiting in person. Staff are friendly and allow you to browse in peace. The euro part is very open, but this leads me to my only issue, so much is locked away in the warehouse. When I visit model shops in Germany, so much in on display, and often, if I see it, I might buy it. Having to ask them to get this bit, or that bit out from the back, can be a pain, esp if your buying bits and bobs. One day, they might let me in the warehouse. I bet in there they have some discontinued stuff that I need. BTW, and another poster mentioned no lavs. Hint, if your coming from the East/Brighton way, always stop off at Crossbush Mcdonalds, they have the lavs. It's only a 5 min drive away.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
